This section focuses on the functional and neural mechanisms underlying social cognition and social behaviour. Research deals with social decision making, moral cognition and neuroeconomics. Ph.D. students will focus on neural underpinning of economical or moral decision-making during social interactions in healthy and brain damage patients. A second stream of research relates to social perception and its neural mechanisms. Ph.D. students will investigate the neural correlates of action and emotion perception as well as empathy and social judgments in healthy and brain damage patients.
